Indo-Pak armies hold first flag meet at LoC post peace dead


Poonch, Mar 26: Amid the fresh peace deal with the armies of and Pakistan, a flag meeting was held on Line of Control in Poonch, Division on Friday between the field commanders of two armies.

The meeting was held at Chakan Da Bagh cross LoC point in Poonch district which is a connecting point between Poonch district on this side and Rawalakote on the other side of the fence.

In a brief press statement issued by army, it has been informed that Brigade Commander level flag meeting was held at Poonch-Ralwakote point to discuss implementation of mechanism as per understanding.

This was first meeting post DGs MoS level hotline talks between armies of both the countries.
