Girls U-14, U-17 events held at Reasi

Reasi, June 07: Part of the annual calendar of activities, Department of Youth Services and (DYSS) today organized Inter-Zone district level sports meet for under-14 and under-17 Girls in the disciplines of Tug of War, Chess, Carrom, Rope Skipping, Badminton and Yoga at General Zorawar Singh Stadium and Indoor Sports Complex, here today.
Over 120 girls drawn from Zone Chassana, Zone Mahore, Zone Arnas, Zone Pouni and Zone Reasi of district Reasi participated in this tournament. For successful conduct of the activity, district (DYSS) officer, Tersem Singh appreciated the field staff and those concerned officials.
The event was coordinated by Ram Krishan Bhat, Zonal Physical Officer (ZPEO) Reasi.

The (Final) Results:
YOGA: Under-14: Agriya Sharma (Reasi), Ist; Mehnaz Kouser (Reasi), 2nd and Nena Devi (Reasi), 3rd. Under-17: Riya Kumari (Reasi), Ist; Kritika Khajuria (Reasi), 2nd and Divyanshi Bali (Reasi), 3rd.
TUG OF WAR: Under-14: Zone Reasi beat Pouni (Zone). Under-17: Pouni (Zone) beat Reasi (Zone).
CARROM: Under-14 (Double): Sheetal Dogra and Rajni Devi of Zone Reasi beat Kamakshi and Abida Tabassum (Pouni). Singles: Tamanna Devi (Reasi) beat Bakhti Devi (Pouni). Under-17 (Double): Raj Kumari and Geetika Sharma (Reasi) beat Nandani and Sakshi Rajput (Pouni). Singles: Rahila Anjum of Reasi beat Pallavi Devi (Pouni).
