Crocodile surfaces in village pond in Hira Nagar

Village Malgar Channi of Tehsil Hiranagar in District Kathua on Thursday stole the news headlines as 's most aggressive aquatic creature Crocodile was found in a water of local pond. Villagers of the Malgar Channi hit the panic button, seeing a crocodile first time in the water pond of the village.

Large number of people gathered to have a glimpse of the scene from a vintage point. Horrified to find this unusual aquatic creature, the villagers are wary of going near the pond.

Surprisingly, there is no climatic conditions that warrants emergence and the survival of such dangerous aquatic animal which is always found in seas, lakes, Mangroves because these are accounted for as the habitats of crocodiles. The news spread like wild fire in around the nearby area and the towns. A large number of people also rushed to the village pond to see for themselves the creature.

People who saw this one said entire village fears to go out for their routine work and all the people have now stopped to walk out into the village because it is first time in the history that we saw this sea animal in village water pond.  Villagers told that we have informed the police and concerned department to take this animal under required custody so that the creature survives and gets its natural habitat and also to avert any likely mishap in the village.
