Would not facilitate PDP to become a martyr: Karra

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 09: Senior Congress leader and former MP Tariq Hameed Karra has ridiculed Chief Minister's sudden approach to opposition parties, saying dropping at the door of Conference president Dr. Farooq Abudllah was yet another theatrical and deceitful tactics of PDP leadership to mislead public and hide its failures in the garb of reaching out to opposition. Karra, who had resigned from Srinagar parliamentary seat and PDP in protest against the PDP's submission and surrender to saffron brigade questioned the timing of Chief Minister's “cosmetic” hand shake with National conference and asked how the Chief Minister has suddenly woken up from slumber, probably appears to have developed sense of guilt for PDP misdeeds and misadventures. Karra said that PDP leadership which has betrayed public faith ruthlessly now wants opposition to shoulder their sins. He, however said the scars of their deceitful were still afresh and opposition parties can't afford to overlook those scars and miseries of the people. Karra, claimed that though PDP was nothing to get from such meetings, yet it appears how desperate Chief Minister was to save her party from disintegration and public wrath.

Karra questioned Chief Mininter's waking up at this given time of the slumber and pleading for help against Sangh Parivar, when PDP itself is responsible for willful and consciously importing criminal ills perpetrated upon the people of and especially  valley as a collaborator and facilitator of fascist forces.

Why did not PDP understand and realize the horrendous outcome of an unholy, unethical, diametrically opposite, ideologically divergent and unsigned alliance?

Why did not PDP came in between the hapless and helpless people of Kashmir and the security forces when they were brutalized, killed maimed and blinded?

Why did not PDP resented when three central laws were being implemented in Jammu and Kashmir in last three years which systematically opened the flood gate for erosion of the distinct identity granted by the Indian constitution?

Now, when the PDP has realized that Sangh Parivar has used it as a horse and RSS riding this willing horse as a pillion, they have once again started befooling the people by their tried and tested theatricals, thereby giving an impression of championing the cause of protecting the people's constitutional rights, very conveniently forgetting that they themselves became instrumental in bringing these criminal ills, which are being faced by the people today.

The regional and communal divide between the regions and religions in the state had never ever touched such a high, which is being seen today, thereby breaking the myth of bringing North Pole and South Pole together. Does the Chief Minister want that the opposition parties howsoever big or small should bail her out of the crises of existence of government by supporting her wishful thoughts of championing the peoples cause, thereby endorsing the all ills and the brutalities perpetrated upon the people for last three years?

Though congress party would fight the fascist forces for their nefarious designs of abrogation of article 370/35A, it would not facilitate PDP to become a “martyr” at the cost of opposition parties by asking them to shoulder a rotten coffin which is soaked with the blood of innocents ? Karra, questioned if PDP was sincerely feeling suffocated in shouldering the RSS agenda of constitutional erosion of Jammu and Kashmir, why is it hesitating in falling apart from fascist forces.
