Condolences pour in as JK Bank Mourns the Loss of Smt Shanta Devi Khar

Srinagar Jan 4: In a somber gathering, employees of J&K Bank of Panel 01 came together to express their heartfelt condolences on the demise of Smt Shanta Devi Khar, the mother of Chand Ji Khar, President of the All J&K Bank Employees Union, Smt Shanta Devi Khar, a resident of Nadimarh, Shopian (J&K), and currently residing at Quarter No. 4/8 Lane No. 01, Jagti, , passed away on the 1st of January 2024 in Jammu.

A condolence meeting, presided over by Haji Farooq Ahmad Bhat, fromer President of the All India J&K Bank Employees Union, on Behalf of Panel 01, took place in Srinagar, where the attendees paid rich tributes to the departed soul. The emotional gathering saw the expression of deep sympathy and shared sorrow for the immense loss suffered by Chand Ji Khar and his family.

Expressing his condolences, Haji Mohammad Farooq stated, “I express my heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family. I lack words to express our grief and sorrow over the passing of your phenomenal mother. She touched lives without leaving a space for doubts in hearts. We would not have been able to fathom the incredible loss of her death. Our deepest sympathy, and may her soul rest in peace.”

Among the prominent figures present at the condolence meeting were Mr. Mohammad Shafi Mandoo, Mr. Rouf Ahmad, Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Khan, Mr. Tariq Mahajan, Mr. Iqbal Niyazi, Mr. Talib Ahmad, and all other office bearers. The presence of these dignitaries underscored the unity and support extended by the J&K Bank community to Chand Ji Khar and his family during this difficult time.

As the bank employees join hands in mourning, they remember Smt Shanta Devi Khar as a remarkable individual whose impact resonated deeply with those fortunate enough to have known her.
