CII delegation call on Advsior to Guv

A delegation led by Rajesh Sharma, Vice Chairman CII J&K State Council and Managing Director SRA Foods & Beverages Pvt Ltd. called upon K Vijay Kumar, Advisor to Governor. The delegation apprised him about the issues being faced by industrial members and requested him to take up the concern. The issues discussed were primarily related to industry as, hazardous waste dumping ground to dump the industrial waste generated from the industries, ESI Hospital in Samba to cater to the healthcare requirements of industrial workforce and their dependents is not operational, putting registered leisure and facility at par with and which are exempted from GST regime, Fixed Term Employment to enable employees to be treated equitably and fairly in every aspect, fortified wheat flour should be exempted from the purview of GST as has been done in case of milk, Introduction of early morning flight to New Delhi from & late evening flight from New Delhi to Jammu, Starting night landing facilities at Jammu & Srinagar Airport. Kumar gave a patient hearing to all the issues and assured speedy and timely action on the issues highlighted by CII members. Delegation comprised of Rahul Sahai, Sanjay Puri, Alim Khan, Archit Puri, Arjun Choudhary and Vivek Bhardwaj.
