LEH: Adv. Tashi Gyalson, the Hon’ble Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh, along with Executive Councillor Stanzin Chosphel, met the Hon’ble Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, at his office in Parliament.
During the meeting, the Hon’ble CEC submitted a memorandum to the Minister, requesting support to bring the Holy Relics of Lord Buddha to Ladakh during the upcoming summer months. The move aims to promote Ladakh’s rich Buddhist heritage and strengthen its cultural ties.
Additionally, the CEC raised various concerns affecting minority communities in Ladakh. Expressing gratitude for Kiren Rijiju’s continued support, he emphasized the need for further collaboration to address the region’s challenges. The Minister assured his commitment to providing all possible assistance for the issues raised, emphasizing his dedication to the development and welfare of Ladakh’s diverse communities.
