Date:

Tawi, July 11: J&K BJP has categorically denied and dismissed as fabricated, misleading attempts to defame the party and its leaders by some elements through the misuse of social media. In a press conference,  BJP State IT & Social Media Department Incharge Jaidev Rajwal and State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, while making a fervent appeal to the people of Jammu and and the followers of BJP leaders on Social Media, including Facebook and Whats App, not to get misled and said that it is highly condemnable that some unknown person has created a fake account of Facebook in the name Ashok Kaul, which incidentally also happens to be name of BJP State General Secretary (Organization) and the said false rumors are being without any basis being attributed to BJP state office bearer. Whatever has been posted on Facebook is handiwork of some person who wants to malign the image of the party and its leader. The BJP states with authority that neither Ashok Kaul nor any other leader has been indulging in such irresponsible campaign on social media. The BJP is committed to the peace, progress, equitable development of all the regions of the state and communal harmony and brotherhood. It totally deprecates any such attempt which exacerbate already tense situation in the valley. It appeals all the right thinking people of the state to maintain peace and calm and not to get swayed by rumor mongering by mischievous elements.
