Being a part of resolving the challenge!

    By Er. Rajesh Pathak

Sri Sri Ravi Shanker of ‘Art of Living’ says, Yog is the science of material life; Bhakti, the spiritual. If both gets integrated the man attains what is called immutable bliss granted from the supreme knowledge! The same thing Shri Krishna says in his words that Gyan-Vigyan truptatma.  Going further deep in Yog-Vigyan, Ravishanker adds, “Gita tells ‘ Yog karmeshu kaushlam’ means, through Yoga one attains perfection.” Whatever be the circumstances, one should tackle it in all calm of a mind, taking it to the course of resolution.  Here only lies the perfection man possesses. And this is required in every field. In present world whatever be the challenge, a perfect man does not take it as a problem. Now take a look at the following incident, and  how it was resolved on the line of Sri Sri Ravi Shanker’s preaching, thereof :
The 24 tribal labourers from Bheempura block (Betul district) were  reported to have been taken to Erode district of Tamil Nadu for reaping the sugarcane produce on the lure of better working condition with handsome salary in return. However, when they reached on the working-place they were forced to perform overwork continuously without providing what had previously been ensured of for the wages and accommodation. Consequently, the mental and physical exploitation took  toll on their health, and it  began to be deteriorated. Yet this is not all. The things gone how worst could be understood that as  they  wanted the leave for the  Holi festival it was denied to them !
Somehow, they managed to convey at home-place the message concerning their woeful living condition and urgency of getting them rid of it. From where the things came to the knowledge of  Prakash Bhau  Uikey ( the honourable member, NCST), Vikrant Kumre ( the Supreme Court advocate ),   Maheshwar Bhallvi, all the volunteers of  Janjati Suraksha Manch of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram. They took it as challenge to be tide over come what may using all means. They soon brought the matter into the notice of National Commission for Schedule Tribes (NCST), which ensured the safe release of poor and helpless labourers and protection of their rights.  Vikrant Kumre was said to have  made direct contact with the DGP Venkata Raman and ADGP (Law and Order) Maheshwar Dayal of Tamil Nadu Police. In view of seriousness of the matter the police administration soon sprang into an action and reached the spot to set the labours free.
Notably, Supreme advocate Vikrant Kumre of “Janjati Suraksha Manch” (a nationalist organisation engaged in the social service of tribals in true Santana spirit) has even before played a prominent role in  setting free over 350 tribal labourers from the different parts of the country from the  menace  of forced labour.
Whoever said, said truly that to be educated, suave and successful is not all, the presence of social-national character should also be reflected in one’s  life. And this is what happened  when we take a look at those associated with Janjati Suraksha Manch who were behind the initiatives bringing new dawn in  the life of poor tribals held captive. To be capable and being full of vigor oneself alone is not enough. The whole society collectively to be moving ahead in the direction of imbibing these merits will ensure bright future of the country. Through materializing the social consciousness on the ground they spread this message around.
