Officials stated on Thursday afternoon that an army member was injured after tumbling down a rocky slope along the Line of Control in the Uri sector of north Kashmir's Baramulla district yesterday evening.
News agency GNS while quoting the officials reported that Lance Naik Mustafa of Unit-12 Jat slipped during a routine patrolling on Wednesday evening.
The injured army man, the officials said, was evacuated to a hospital from where he was referred to 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar by special QRR for preferential treatment.
