AAP turning indomitable force in J&K, choice of all: Tony

Date:

Spiritual leader B S Parwana, Cong leader Rakesh Kundal join AAP

Tawi:

Senior AAP leader and DDC Member Suchetgarh Taranjit Singh Tony on Sunday maintained that his party is fast turning an indomitable force in Jammu and besides becoming choice of all as the traditional parties have been exposed for not doing enough for the people who elected them again and again in the past.

Tony was speaking during a programme in which B.S Parwana, a renowned social worker and spiritual leader and senior Congress leader Rakesh Kundal Rinku along with his supporters Mukesh, Arun Sangral, Rampal, Devi Dayal, Capt Mohan Lal Kundal, Gaarjit Singh, Robin Degira, Nitin Lala Daliya and Gurdeep Singh Sodhi joined AAP after quitting the oldest party of the country–the Congress. Mandeep Choudhary, Sr AAP leader played a key role in the joining.

Tony, while welcoming the Congress leaders into the party fold, anticipated that their entry in the party will further strengthen the AAP and boost the morale of its existing brigade of activists in providing succour to people as AAP is known as people-friendly party and is famous for its pro-poor decisions in the states where it is on power.

While joining the AAP, Rakesh Kundal said that the Congress party has become a spent force as it is lacking enthusiasm and energy. He said that looking into the prolific policies envisaged by Arvind Kejriwal, he has decided to embrace AAP and he will do his best to strengthen the party at the grass-root level.
