    Wimbledon: Women’s singles semifinals line-up drawn, Men’s quarterfinals to be played today

    In Wimbledon, Serena Williams, Simona Halep, Barbora Strycova, Elina Svitolina cruised through the quarter finals of women's singles last night. Seven-time champion Serena Williams defeated unseeded American compatriot Alison Riske to enter the semi finals for the 12th time. She will clash with unseeded Barbora Strycova of Czech republic tomorrow.

    Barbora entered the semis defeating Britain's 19th seed Johanna Konta. The other semi final has been set up between Romanian Simona Halep and Elina Svitolina of Ukraine. Simona defeated Chinese Zhang Shuai while Svitolina beat Karolina Muchova.

    Men's singles quarterfinals will be played today. While Serbian Novak Djokovic takes on Belgian David Goffin, Roger Federer clashes with K Nishikori of Japan, America's Sam Querrey will play Rafael Nadal and Argentinia's Guido Pella meets Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut.
