SRINAGAR, Nov 13: In a major follow-up to the Delhi blast probe, around 10 persons, including three government employees, have been picked up for questioning from different parts of Kashmir in connection with the ongoing investigation into the “white-collar terror” module, officials said on Thursday.
The suspects were detained during overnight raids in Anantnag, Pulwama, and Kulgam districts as security agencies intensified the crackdown on the terror ecosystem across the Valley. The move follows Monday’s Red Fort blast in Delhi, which killed 13 people and injured several others.
Officials said preliminary questioning revealed that some of the detained individuals had travelled to Turkiye in the past year, raising further suspicions about cross-border links.
So far, seven people — including doctors — have been arrested in connection with the recovery of a large cache of explosives, while over 200 individuals have been questioned in the widening investigation.
The terror module was initially unearthed based on information provided by two overground workers (OGWs) arrested earlier this month, who allegedly helped expose the network’s structure and foreign connections. (Agencies)
