JAMMU, Mar 11: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today inaugurated the Shri Birendra Rai Hospital in Areraj, Motihari, Bihar. The hospital, which will provide specialized services using cutting-edge healthcare technology, was dedicated to the public in memory of the late Shri Birendra Rai.
The Lieutenant Governor extended his congratulations to the family of Late Shri Birendra Rai, as well as to everyone involved in the establishment of the hospital. “Shri Birendra Rai Ji’s family has steered this esteemed institution for public service and care,” he said. “I convey my good wishes to Shri Rajeev Kumar, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, and their family for their dedication to service.”
During his address, the Lieutenant Governor highlighted the progress India has made in healthcare over the past decade under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “India’s innovations in healthcare technologies and treatment are among the best, with our healthcare professionals competing with leading institutions globally,” he said.
Emphasizing the importance of developing specialized human resources and expanding access to affordable healthcare, the Lieutenant Governor stressed the need for close collaboration between the public and private sectors. He also emphasized expanding medical services to far-flung areas while maintaining high-quality care across the country.
The inauguration marked a significant step in providing advanced medical services to the people of the region.
