    Jammu Tawi, December 1: Natrang  presented an impactful Hindi play titled ‘Lamhon Ki Khatah’ at Rani Park, Jammu, as part of its acclaimed Sunday Theatre series. Written and directed by Neeraj Kant, the play was staged to commemorate World AIDS Day, delivering a powerful message on HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. The play opened with a group of young individuals disseminating crucial information about the AIDS virus, aiming to break prevalent myths surrounding its origin, transmission, and societal impact. A symbolic character named “Virus” emerged to confront misconceptions, emphasizing the need for awareness and responsible behavior. Another character introduced the audience to vital resources like the Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre (ICTC) and Antiretroviral Therapy (ART), which enhances the immune system and helps manage the disease. In a poignant turn of events, the play depicted the struggles of a well-informed individual advocating for HIV/AIDS awareness who becomes personally affected by the virus.
    The production featured a talented cast, including Brijesh Avtar Sharma, Mihir Gujral, Vrinda Gujral, Gopi Sharma, Vansh Pandotra, Aryan Sharma, Kushal Bhat, Palshin Dutta, and Mehak Chib. The play was coordinated by Mohd. Yaseen, who ensured the seamless execution of the performance. Natrang’s ‘Lamhon Ki Khatah’ not only captivated the audience but also served as a call to action, urging society to combat stigma with empathy, awareness, and legal safeguards, paving the way for a more inclusive future.
