Srinagar, July 13 : Former CM and National Conference working president Omar Abdullah Wednesday in a series of tweets took a dig at ruling PDP-BJP government and CM Mehbooba Mufti and alleged that the government ferried people in police buses to attend the official function on ‘Martyrs Day'.
Omar tweeted: “Brazen Shamelessness of the @MehboobaMufti #BJP Govt, ferrying people in police buses to state function to convey normalcy has returned.”
In another tweet Omar said: “More than 30 people have died & all @MehboobaMufti & her party want to do is put up party flags & get police to ferry people to her function.”
Omar said that the government was trying to “befool people and bosses in Delhi” by falsifying the participation of people in the function, to make it appear that everything was fine in Kashmir.
The former CM tweeted: “Misplaced priorities that put theatrics & falsified public participation over & above the ground realities so as to befool bosses in Delhi.”
