Farooq’s attack on BJP-PDP meant to strengthen the NC vote bank

Date:

, November 19 (KIP):_In a bid to strengthen the vote bank for the
Conference seems, which has lost power in 2014 Assembly
election, the party president, Dr Farooq Abdullah, has started berating
the BJP and the PDP. He to open a frontal attack on the BJP describing
the party as communal and interested in dividing communities.

Farooq Abdullah, has dared the Saffron groups to attack Pakistan.
“Some people are annoyed with my statement and have gone to the Court
against me because I said which is with Pakistan is theirs.
That part of divided Kashmir is with Pakistan from last 70 years and
was unable to take it back in three wars with Pakistan,” he
said, while quoting statement of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari
Vajpayee that sanctity of the border should be maintained.

“Now they are claiming they will take away that Kashmir from Pakistan.
Tell me when did NC stop you from wresting that that part from
Pakistan. Go to the border and fight with them. However, they (Saffron
groups) will not fight but only stage anti-Farooq Abdullah protest and
burn my effigy,” he said.

Farooq is right when he said that since Pakistan had nuclear
weapons and is fully aided by China it was not possible for India to
secure incorporation of occupied Kashmir with India

Farooq finds the iron is hot and plans to dent the BJP and the
PDP in order to gain advantage in the next Assembly election. He has
shown it that by berating the BJP and the PDP he has succeeded in
winning the Lok Sabha seat from Srinagar last year. He also believes
that the coalition Government of BJP and PDP may not complete its
tenure of six year which may warrant an early Assembly election and
hence he is trying to fortify his party's position so that the NC is
able to regain power.
