MD/CEO J&K Bank along with team calls on Advisor Ladakh

, Sept 24: MD/CEO J&K Bank Baldev Prakash and other senior banking associates called on Advisor to LG , Umang Narula at Civil Secretariat, Leh to discuss inter alia various issues related to UT Ladakh's stake in the bank and appointment of Director from Ladakh on the board of the bank.
At the outset, Baldev Prakash stated that the motto of J&K Bank is quality service for people rather than profit. He said J&K Bank is dedicated to creating job opportunities for the people of UT Ladakh and has already conducted recruitment drives, especially for the youth of Ladakh wherein a sufficient number of locals were inducted. He further discussed the prospects for advanced services for the employees of Ladakh Administration.
Advisor Narula asked the MD/CEO to increase ATMs at tourist spots in rural areas and other locations and stated that digitisation should be encouraged for improving financial inclusion and for facilitating tourists.
Additional/Secretary, Finance, Rajat Kumar; Zonal Head Ladakh, Dorjey Angchuk; General Manager (BSD) Sudhir Gupta, were also present at the meeting.
