3361 addl Anganwari Centres approved
SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 14: The Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti accorded sanction to the setting up of 3361 additional Aganwari Centers/Aganwari-on-Demand under ICDS Scheme, on adhoc basis in the State Mission Directorate (ICDS).
The Cabinet approved engagement of 3361 Aganwari Workers and 3361 Aganwari Helpers as honorary workers in these Centers.
The Cabinet also approved creation of 134 posts of Supervisors for these additional Aganwari Centers (AWCs) i.e one Supervisor for 25 Aganwari Centers each, in the Pay Band of Rs 5200-20200 with GP of Rs 2400.
