JAMMU Tawi, DECEMBER 24: The Government ordered winter vacations in the schools falling in Summer Zone of Jammu Division, from December 24 to January 2, 2021.JK Higher Education Department today announced winter vacations for the Government Degree Colleges falling in winter and summer zones as well.
An order in this regard was issued today by Secretary School Education, B K Singh. As per the order, all the Government educational institutions, including recognized private schools upto Higher Secondary level falling in Summer Zone of Jammu Division shall observe winter vacation with effect from December 24, 2020 to January 2, 2021. An order by Higher Education Department reads, Government Degree Colleges in Kashmir Valley and winter zones of Jammu Division would close on December 28, 2020 and open on February 14, 2021, while those falling on Summer Zone of Jammu Division would close on December 26, 2020, and open on January 4, 2021.
