Jammu, Apr 10: Vishu slammed a power-packed century as SB Cricket Club got the better of Ace Cricket Club by a big margin of 73 runs in a high scoring game of Friendship Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, being played at Country Cricket Stadium, Gharota, near here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, SB CC rode on a cracking century by Vishu to score a huge total of 228 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Vishu showed stellar grit and tenacity to notch up magnificent century (123) runs off just 57 balls, studded with 11 fours and 8 sixes, while Mohit contributed 44 runs off 29 balls with the help of 6 fours and one six.
Amrit Koul and Ave Kachroo claimed one wicket each for Ace Cricket Club. In reply, Ace Cricket Club managed to score 155 runs in the allotted 20 overs, thus lost the match by 73 runs. Ayushman Koul scored 40 off 42 balls including 2 boundaries. For SBCC, Rajeev and Surya captured 3 wickets each, while Vinod Raina claimed one wicket.
Rajeev was the skipper of SBCC, while Amit was the captain of Ace Cricket Club.
