Truck driver from Punjab dies at FCI godown accident

Tawi, Jan 20 : A truck driver hailing from Gurdaspura area of died after he met with an accident at Food Corporation of (FCI) godown at Jatwal area of Samba.

Police officials told that a truck loaded with ration was parked in FCI godown at Jatwal Samba when slipped on the road and driver identified as Rajinder Singh of Gurdaspur Punjab, trying to stop the vehicle got stuck between two vehicles and died on the spot.

Body of deceased was later taken into the possession while further legal formalities have been started, police said.
