Trifurcate state into Jammu Kashmir Ladakh: Hari Om

Date:

Jammu Tawi, Sep 5: Dismissing the BJP's J&K policy anti-nationalists, anti- and anti , convener of Jammu for (JFI) Prof Hari Om on Monday asked the Central Government to abandon the destroy-India policy and adopt a policy that promotes national interest in this strategic region, segregates Jammu and Ladakh from , creates separate homeland for Kashmiri Hindus within the Valley and limits the area of Jihadi strife to 5,000 sq km Valley.

“The JFI reject outright BJP's J&K policy. It is fatal for the national interest and it is designed to convert Jammu and Ladakh into Kashmir's colonies and destroy the minorities. It is not acceptable. We will decide our own fate within India and not accept any solution that New Delhi evolves to appease the separatists in Kashmir,” said Prof Hari Om while reflecting on the approach of the All-Party Delegation towards Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. He added that while the All-Party Delegation brought shame to India by conducting itself in a most irresponsible manner in Kashmir, it injured the sensitivities of the nationalists in the state by treating them shabbily as if they were slaves of Kashmir and had no aspirations of their own.

“It was disgusting and shameful that the All-Party Delegation opened kept all the doors opened for Toms, Dicks and Harrys in Kashmir and begged a meeting with the Pakistani agents and shut all the doors for the nationalists,” said JFI convener, adding that the people of Jammu, Ladakh and other oppressed communities will never forgive the BJP and the Central Government for the heinous crimes it committed in Srinagar on September 4.

He said the nationalists have taken a strong exception to what PDP chief and J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti said during her interaction with the All-Party Delegation and said by not rejecting her “unconditional dialogue with Pakistan and Hurriyat” demand, the BJP has vindicated the nationalists' stand that the BJP and the PDP were working in tandem to drive J&K out of India and help the Kashmiris establish a religious state on the territories of India.

“It was highly deplorable that the Union Home Minister visited Kashmir twice during the last 50 days only to get the nation humiliated and didn't find time to visit either Jammu or Ladakh to listen to the woes of the people of these two neglected regions. It was also deplorable that the All-Party Delegation spent more than 26 hours in Srinagar and reluctantly decided to visit Jammu for a couple of hours to complete the formality. In Kashmir, they sought appointment with all and they found no time for the nationalists in Jammu,” said Prof Hari Om, adding that the BJP, which got massive mandate from Jammu and Ladakh has squandered it in its desperate bid to please the PDP and remain in power even at the cost of the nation. He further added that the All-Party Delegation insulted the people of Jammu province by telling them that if any political leader wanted to meet it, he should come to Kashmir and that it would meet only some civil society members in Jammu. “Jammu refuses to accept this shameful diktat,” he said.

Prof Hari Om urged the nationalists in the state in general and people of Jammu province in particular to see through the evil game plan of the BJP-PDP combine and defeat it as it is the question of their very existence and survival. He told the nationalists that the time has come for the four-way-split of J&K and added that this is the only solution defeat Pakistan and its Kashmir-based agents.
