UDHAMPUR, May 29: Udhampur Police on Friday ordered the transfer and posting of seven police officers in the interest of administration with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by SSP Udhampur, Inspector Purshotam Kumar has been transferred from Police Station Rehmbal and posted as SHO Police Station Ramnagar.
Inspector Nishant Gupta, presently posted at DPL Udhampur, has been appointed as SHO Police Station Chenani, while Inspector Parvez Sajad has been posted as SHO Police Station Udhampur from DPL Udhampur.
Inspector Sumit Magotra has been transferred from DPL Udhampur to Police Station Rehmbal.
Among PSIs, Manveer Singh has been shifted from Police Station Ramnagar to Police Station Udhampur, Varun Sharma from Police Station Udhampur to Incharge Police Post Battal Ballian, and Ravinder Kumar from Police Post Battal Ballian to Police Station Udhampur.
The order further stated that Inspector Parvez Sajad shall formally join as SHO Udhampur after the relieving of Abhijeet Sirohi, IPS, who is presently functioning as SHO of the police station.
The transferred officers have been directed to report at their new places of posting forthwith.
