Ganderbal, Apr 05: A 35-year-old Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) died after falling from a five-storey building at Dignibal area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officials said on Monday.
An official told that SSB trooper identified as Jitendra Kumar of 13 Battalion died after falling from the 5th floor of the building at Dignibal.
He said that the SSB trooper fell from the building and got injured following which he was shifted to SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) where doctors declared him brought dead.
The police officer further said that in this connection, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC has been initiated at concerned Police Station.
