    SS Jamwal given adieu, Koul takes over as Director Agriculture

    JULY 31 –  Director , Jammu, Dr. Surinder Singh Jamwal, superannuated today after serving for more than 37 years in various capacities in the Department.

    Dr. Jamwal along with other retirees were given a warm farewell at Krishi Bhawan, here today.

    The other retirees were Rajinder Singh, Seed Certification Assistant and Tara Chand, Field Assistant, Spawn Production Scheme.

    Meanwhile, Sudesh Koul, took over as new Director Agriculture, Jammu. He assured to take the department to new heights by taking up various issues vigorously for the welfare of farming community and functionaries of the department.

    A.K. Malhotra, Joint Director of Agriculture (Extension) and S. R. Galotra, Joint Director of Agriculture (SLUB) spelled out achievements of the department during the tenure of Dr. Jamwal. They hailed the contribution of all the retirees and wished them a healthy and happy retired life.

    President AJKAOWF, Vijay Upadhyaya and President, All J&K, Agriculture Employees Association, Uttam Chand Sharma besides others were present on the occasion.
