Sourabh Sethi new President of Rotary Club Jammu

Tawi, Sep. 10: Rtn. Sourabh Sethi was appointed as President and Rtn. Sandeep Beri as Secretary of Rotary Club Jammu Baahu in an impressive and well attended Charter and Installation ceremony held here today. District Governor Dr. Dushyant Choudhary, who is the first Rotarian from J&K to head the Rotary District 3070, was the Installation Officer of the ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Choudhary expressed his happiness at the fact that young Rotarians are taking over the responsibilities of heading their respective Clubs. This will bring in fresh ideas, vigour and enthusiasm among Rotarians to serve the humanity at large with renewed zeal, he said.

Earlier, Rtn. Sourabh Sethi, President of Rotary Club Jammu Bahu thanked the Club members for giving him the responsibility of leading the Club. He assured the District Governor and all the Rotarians present on the occasion that he would leave no stone unturned in serving the society to the best of his abilities and take the Club to new heights.

Rtn. Jatinder Gandhok, District Secretary (HQ) congratulated the new Club and expressed hope that it would in time become one of the leading Clubs of the District. Zonal Chair Rtn. Rameshwar Pawar welcomed the new addition to the Clubs in the District and assured all help and support to the Club in achieving its goals.

Rtn. Adeep Mehta, Club Advisor, assured that the new club would double its membership within one year and emerge as the leading Club of the District within a short span of time.

A team of doctors from Shankus Medicity Cancer Hospotals attended the ceremony under the leadership of Dr. Paras Khanna. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Khanna assured that they are committed to bring about the best cancer treatment to the all sections of society in J&K.

Rtn. Sandeep Beri, Secretary thanked the gathering for their enthusiastic support. Rtn. Gourav Arora conducted the proceedings of the programme.
