Sons meet detained Omar for first time in over 2 months

SRINAGAR: Two sons of former Chief Minister and vice president of Conference (NC) leader, Omar Abdullah, who is under detention at Hari Niwas for last over two months met him on Friday.

Zahir Abdullah and Zamir Abdullah, sons of Omar Abdullah arrived in Srinagar this morning and went to Hari Niwas to meet their father. They arrived at Hari Niwas around 11.30 am and left at around 4 pm. Both the sons left for New Delhi in the evening.

This is for the first time that Omar's sons came to meet him inside Hari Niwas that has been designated as sub-jail. Earlier, sisters and mother met Omar.
