Jammu Tawi, August 01: The Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, has expressed shock and grief over the loss of lives in a landslide in Dharmari, District Reasi. He has conveyed his condolences and sympathies to the kin of Shri Rajinder Singh, JKAS 2011, SDM Ramnagar, District Udhampur.
Shri Rajinder Singh and his son succumbed to their injuries and died on spot. The Lieutenant Governor has spoken to the senior officials and asked them to ensure best possible treatment to the injured and to render all assistance to the kin of Shri Rajinder Singh.
In a separate message, Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo, expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the untimely demise of Shri Rajinder Singh, JKAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Ramnagar, who lost his life in a tragic road accident in Reasi earlier this evening when he was traveling with his family.
In his condolence message, the Chief Secretary described Shri Rajinder Singh as a sincere and dedicated officer whose unwavering commitment to public service and integrity in duty earned him respect of his colleagues and the community alike.
