Thinkers and Philosophers eagerly working and dreaming for Progressive and ever Rising India have been suggesting and strongly advocating for Rising India. Let us have a close look at them and draw a positive inference with regard to their significance for progressive and rising India. Let us endeavor to understand and implement them with good will and strength. But at the moment when India is rising fast towards becoming a ‘DEVELOPED NATION’, the five transformative social changes would give a fillip to the process. Let us understand them meticulously one by one.
1.SAMAJIK SAMRASTA( COMMUNAL HARMONY):- Communal harmony is a natural feature and inborn tendency and quality of Bhartiya Samaj. However, with the passage of time some undesirable aberrations and tendencies did crop up and continued with impunity on the basis of caste for a prolonged period of time. At this critical point of time when our country on the rise and poised to be the important constituent of vital club of developed countries, these obnoxious and injurious evils need be swept away with one master stroke. Our revered saints and many other spiritual masters such as Guru Ravi Dass , Sant Tuka Ram , Narayan Guru, Savarkar, Baba Sahib Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya have done tremendous work on this count. Ramanujacharya, Bhagwan Budh and Bhagwan Mahaveer also discarded these social evils and strongly advocated for dropping them at the earliest.. Therefore, we need to take along with us all valued and saner people in the society to build a well harmonized society, for this purpose we must also initiate the following measures for desired results:–
* Cultivate and maintain very cordial and affectionate relations with all people living around us and in our close neighborhood.
* Discarding discrimination with any human being based on his caste and profession.
* Treat everyone alike in the society irrespective of his profession or being in poverty.
*Invite and treat them as your honored guests in family functions.
*On the occasion of Deepavali and other festivals, celebrate with your neighbors of varied communities and feast together to ingrain understanding and mutual respect. This would lead to a healthy and vibrant society.
* Our friendly circle must have of all types of people following different faiths and belief systems as per their natural bent of mind.
*Temples, Water resources , places of cremation and all other public places must be open and available for all people of various communities without any consideration of caste, creed and color.
2. ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION:- This is another vital social change which is also a dire need of the hour. We know that Nature comprises five elements such as EARTH, SKY, FIRE, AIR, WATER. These five elements always exist and stay in harmony, that is how all worldly and natural activities operate smoothly. Acharya CHARK has advised that Natural balance should never get disturbed, this is bounden duty of the HUMANS. They must dutifully focus on managing pollution and planting trees on urgent basis.
POLLUTION AND PLANTATION OF TREES
At this critical juncture, undesirable imbalance NATURE has unfortunately turned into a major Global crisis wherein Water pollution, Air pollution, Soil pollution and many other kind of pollutions have become the subject matter of Global Interaction and debates. We call Earth as Mother, Earlier our lifestyle was in harmony with nature , we lived as per the principle of ‘LIVE AND LET LIVE’ . Millions of diverse species of living beings together with human beings have been inhabitating on the Earth planet since times immemorial in perfect harmony without causing any kind of harm to each other and also did no injustice to nature as well. But with the passage of time and changed conditions, the human beings started exploiting the natural resources for their own exclusive development at the cost of other fellow travelers, endangering their existence. While navigating further in the emerging critical scenario, we find that our forest area and the water resources are getting depleted at a fast pace. This needs be curbed strictly on urgent basis to slow down the ongoing inferno.
3. FAMILY ENLIGHTENMENT:- Family is basic unit of the society. A dynamic Leader, Good Doctor, Intelligent Advocate, Competent Engineers, brave and daring Soldier as well as all responsible citizens come from the family. We need to focus on under mentioned points for needed revolutionary Family Enlightenment:-
*All members of the family must assemble for a joint family meet once a week for informal Gupp Chhupp and healthy interaction.
* Cultivate moral values in the children, educate them about moral teachings of Ramayan, Mahabharat and Geeta etc.
* Introduce the growing children about your family history, rites and traditions of the family.
*Make your family an ideal one, say No to wasteful expenditure, Dowry and other social evils.
* See that all womenfolk in the family are respected and honored ahead of all others.
4.SWADESHI:- For any independent Nation, concept of Swadeshi is extremely important for being progressive and productive. Following Steps shall be very useful and productive:
*Cultivating the tendency and habit to use our own language * wearing our self produced, manufactured and designed clothes as compared to the foreign imported clothes.*High priority must be given to the usage of Swadeshi things produced in our own country. * Ensure that we sign always in our national Language. Make your substantial contribution towards making country self sufficient and truly great in all respects.
5. BECOMING A RESPONSIBLE CITIZEN :-* Respect and always abide by the constitutional provisions and duties in day to day life.*Always be conscious and vigilant about the unity, integrity, sovereignty and security of India and perform all important acts which are urgently required for enhancing country’s prestige across the world. As a responsible citizen always ensure that you poll your vote without fail and diligently comply with all your democratic duties. *Obey all traffic rules honestly along with all other norms and rules made for public welfare and safety. * Never think of causing any damage to public property but in contrast happily contribute in keeping it safe and secured.
In this twilight hour, by virtue of generating the five Social changes as explained and narrated herein above, we shall be making a substantive and significant effort to catapult Rising India to attain the Status of VISHAV GURU at the earliest. Jai Bharat
