SBSP expands base as key figures join party in Srinagar

Srinagar, June 1: The Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) witnessed a major boost in its Jammu and Kashmir unit on Sunday, with several prominent figures from five districts formally joining the party at a ceremony held in Srinagar.

The event, presided over by SBSP’s J&K President Vivek Bali, marked the induction of members from Bandipora, Baramulla, Anantnag, Srinagar, and Pulwama. Among the key inductees were former BJP councillor from Pampore Ramesh Wangoo, social activist Mudasir Nazir, and businessmen Yatin Pandita, Manzoor Mir, and Dilawar Singh. Other notable figures included Zumair Malik, Wajahat Raina, Nazir Ahmad Khan, Shabir Ahmad Parray, Ghulam Hassan Wani, and several grassroots leaders.

Welcoming the newcomers, Vivek Bali reaffirmed the party’s commitment to addressing the pressing socio-political and economic challenges in Jammu and Kashmir. “We are excited to welcome individuals dedicated to the betterment of the state. Their inclusion strengthens our mission of inclusive development and empowerment,” he said.

The new members cited their confidence in SBSP’s leadership and vision as the key reason for their decision. “We believe the party offers a viable and people-centric platform for real change,” they said in a joint statement.

Bali further called on like-minded citizens to join hands with the SBSP to work for a more prosperous and peaceful Jammu and Kashmir.

The induction is seen as a strategic step to expand SBSP’s grassroots presence in the Valley and energize its political outreach ahead of future elections.
