Sasan distributes rice among firing victims

Gurdeep Singh Sasan, Vice President Conference Jammu Province conducted extensive tour of Border Belt of R S Pura. He met different victims of Pakistan firing and listened to their grievances. While addressing the gathering of firing of victims who came from different forwards places and gathered at Rangpura, Sasan lambasted the BJP – PDP Govt. for its total failure to come to the rescue of Border dwellers by leaving them at the mercy of Good. He said that the Govt. seems to be insensitive towards the sufferings of firing victims and have closed their eyes and ears towards them. He alleged that the Govt. has failed to provide their basic amenities due to that the helpless people are deprived of medical, electricity, ration, sanitary, drinking water and other day to day usable necessary consumables items. Sasan further flayed the PDD-BJP coalition and said that the present dispensation is completely direction less and has lost the people confidence of all the regions of the State. It has no clear vision and have no developmental agenda. Sasan further said that National Conference committed for providing them shelter during cross firing and urged coalition Govt. to provide 5 marlas of land to Border inhabitants and appealed to His Excellency Governor J&K State to direct the Govt. to provide alternative permanent shelters to the victims. Daljeet Sharma, Distt. President women wing highlighted the problems of the Border belt and assured the women that NC Leadership is committed for empowerment of women and will launched different welfare schemes for girls. Prominent who spoke on the occasion includes Rakesh Sharma, Shakuntla, Amarjeet Kour, Mamta Sharma.
