Road work starts in Tehsil Marheen

    Kathua, Nov 9: In Chhapaki Panchayat on Monday, DDC member Karan Kumar from Tehsil Marheen started the work of laying coal tar on various roads at a cost of 10 lakhs.

    Local sarpanch Madanlal Sharma told that for a long time the people of the panchayat were demanding better road facilities.

    He said that the road passing through the locality will lead to the cremation ground.  With this, the work of laying coal tar on the road leading to Ladhwal village has also been started.

    DDC member said that a hand pump has been approved for this locality which will be installed soon.

    On this occasion, President of Panch Association Ashok Kumar, Sarpanch Mohan Singh, Panch Bittu Verma, Sarpanch Bantu Sharma etc. were present.
