Relying on Ayurveda not a bad idea

Date:

Comparing the different systems of medical sciences one can easily conclude that whether it is allopathic, homeopathic, Unani, Ayurveda or any other established set up for the treatment of different ailments, all these have their own advantages and disadvantages, making it necessary for the stakeholders to opt either one or even more than one system of treating diseases to get optimum results and combat diseases as soon as possible.

Although the limitation part of these healing systems is more or less similar but taking the case of ayurveda,  one can have the best advantage which no one can ignore because this ancient medical science practiced in and some other countries in Asia has no side effects as such, making it a better choice among all. It is a sad state of affairs that this being one of the oldest healing systems available in India has not been popularized to the extent which it deserved on merits.

No one can deny that the incumbent government at the centre running under the realms of PM Narendra Modi has done a marvelous job in giving right place to ayurveda especially during the COVID-19 pandemic time, as ayurvedic medicines have saved many precious lives by enhancing the immunity of thousands of people after the Ayush Ministry provided free ayurvedic immunity boosters to a large number of citizens across the country.

No doubt there are some black sheep in the society which are maligning the image of this system of healing by deception and bogus promises because there is no magic in the ayurveda to fight the diseases rather this healing system is based on knowledge acquired by the people through their life experiences while living in the vicinity of nature since ages.

Of course, like the case of other things, ayurveda has also been exploited on account of commercialization but this thing cannot undermine the proficiency of this system because people can rely on this healing methodology to remain hale and hearty with only one precaution in mind that they should remain cautious of touts and quacks, which like in other fields of medical science also galore in ayurvedic giving a bad name to the ancient science and putting to trouble those who somehow fall prey to these unprincipled entities.

All said and done, the best way to keep oneself healthy and happy is relying on ayurveda as the same is not a bad idea but at the same time go for a trade of between this system and the other ones in case one finds some limitations in this ancient system, which is believed to be originated in Indian sub-continent.
