Jaipur, Jul 28: Stepping up his attack on the Opposition a day after it moved a no-confidence motion against his government in Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Thursday equated the Opposition alliance with “enemies of the country which tried to hide their sins behind the name India” and accused it of “embracing the tukde-tukde gang”. Speaking in Sikar in Congress-ruled Rajasthan, Modi focused on crimes against women in Opposition-ruled states. The Opposition, protesting over a video of two women being sexually assaulted during the ethnic clashes in Manipur where the BJP heads the ruling coalition, has been demanding that the Prime Minister make a statement in Parliament on the Manipur situation.
