    No ‘halal’ & ‘haraam’ in politics: Hakeem Yaseen

    Budgam, Sept 09 (KNO): Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) Patron, Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen on Monday said “there is no halal or haram in ,” criticizing the Conference (NC) for allegedly showing frustration as Jamaat-e-Islami  enters into the poll pray after a long gap.

    Speaking at a party workers' convention in Raithan Khansahib, Yaseen accused the National Conference of oppressing Jamaat-e-Islami and misleading them.

    “Now, anyone who wants to contest elections is labeled as an agent by these (NC, PDP) parties.” he stated.

    He further accused the National Conference and PDP of ruining and , citing the behavior of NC workers in Ganderbal as evidence.

    Yaseen alleged violations of the model code of conduct in the Khansahib constituency during nighttime and urged the administration to take appropriate action. He also promised to develop Palmaidan better than Doodhpathri if elected to power.
