Nagrota Attack: Urdu note recovered from slain militants hints at JeM link

Date:

, NOV 30: Nagrota Attack is the tenth major Attack to take place in Jammu province. The attack led to death of 7 Jawans, including to Indian Army officers. While the Search operations continue on second day, the recoveries made from slain militants have revealed some striking details.

Documents recovered from site of Nagrota attack reveal that the Afzal Guru Squad of JeM is responsible for the terror strike.

Apart from explosives and bullets, other shenannigans recovered from militants killed in Nagrota include a note written in Urdu. On the note it is clearly writter that the attack on Army base was conducted to avenge the death of Afzal Guru. The note also reveals links with JeM.

Afzal Guru Shaheed Squad

Gazba-e-Hind- We were here to avenge the death of Afzal Guru

Afzal guru was involved in Parliament in 2011 and subsequently hanged in a Delhi prison in 2013, and earlier this year JeM also took the responsibility of Uri Attack.

Maulana Masood Azhar, chief of JeM is the mastermind behind all such attacks. He was exchanged for rescuing people hijacked in Nepal-Kandhar area back in 2009. This clearly indicates that ISI is aiding and abetting terror in this part of Jammu and .
