Mumbai, Sept 5: Mumbai Police have issued a Lookout Circular (LOC) against Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty and her businessman husband Raj Kundra in connection with a ₹60 crore cheating case, officials said on Friday.
The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the city police issued the LOC as the couple frequently travels abroad, an official said.
The case was registered at Juhu police station on August 14 after a businessman alleged that Shetty and Kundra duped him of nearly ₹60 crore in a loan-cum-investment deal.
An LOC is a mechanism used by law enforcement agencies to prevent individuals from leaving the country or to track their movements, with alerts issued at immigration and border checkpoints.(Agencies)
