Jammu, Jan 8: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will preside over the main Republic Day function, 2026, at Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu, where he will also take the salute.
All government officers and officials, including those from Public Sector Undertakings stationed in Jammu, have been directed to attend the event as part of their official duty. Heads of Departments and Chief Executives of PSUs are required to ensure the presence of their employees to observe the national event with due solemnity.
The Beating Retreat Ceremony for the Republic Day celebrations will be held on January 29, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu. Participation of all government officers, officials, and employees under departmental heads and PSU chiefs has also been mandated.
