Jammu, Nov 24: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday visited the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Commando Training Centre (CTC) in Sunjwan to review specialised training modules and ongoing activities at the facility.
The LG was briefed on operational preparedness, including counter-terror and tactical training imparted to trainees. He also interacted with police personnel undergoing various training programmes.
The SSP, Training and Special Operations, made a detailed presentation outlining key components of the training curriculum and proposals for upgrading infrastructure and expanding the centre’s capabilities.
LG Sinha was accompanied by Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat, Special DG (Coordination) S.J.M. Gillani, Principal Secretary (Home) Chandraker Bharti, ADGP Headquarters and Director SSG M.K. Sinha, IGP Jammu Bhim Sen Tuti, Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar and other senior officials.
