Jammu, Nov 23: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday chaired a high-level security review meeting in Jammu to assess the overall situation in the Union Territory and evaluate ongoing measures to strengthen preparedness.
Top officials, including Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, DGP Nalin Prabhat, Special DG (Coordination) S.J.M. Gillani and IG Jammu Zone B.S. Tuti, attended the meeting, along with other senior officers from the civil and police administration.
Reports said senior officials from the Jammu division also joined, making it a comprehensive assessment of the current security landscape.
Discussions centred on the security scenario, counter-terror operations and administrative readiness for the upcoming winter season.
Sources said the LG was briefed on the initiatives underway to “destroy the terror ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir.”
