Jammu, Sept 30: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday attended the valedictory function of ‘Viksit Bharat Ke Rang-Kala Ke Sang’ at Jammu, organized by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA) and Divisional Administration Jammu, and addressed school and college students.
Commending the “Yuva Shakti” of Jammu and Kashmir, the LG urged students to be catalysts for change and to envision and paint the Viksit Bharat of their dreams. “The responsibility of creating a developed India not only on canvas but in reality is in their hands,” he said.
Highlighting the role of youth in nation-building, Sinha said initiatives like Sewa Parv prepare young people to face future challenges with a positive mindset and cultivate leaders, innovators, and builders who will shape India’s growth trajectory. He also called upon the youth to remain vigilant and united against divisive forces threatening national stability.
The LG felicitated students who excelled in the program and encouraged making such initiatives a regular feature. The event was attended by MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, University of Jammu Vice Chancellor Prof. Umesh Rai, Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar, IGP Bhim Sen Tuti, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rakesh Minhas, IGNCA Regional Director Shruti Awasthi, senior officials, and a large number of students and youth.
