With an aim to increase awareness regarding various winter season related health problems, the Army today organised a lecture on “Prevention of Winter Diseases” at Youth Centre, Palma in Rajouri Distt. The lecture was delivered by the Medical Officer. The audience were sensitised about health problems like respiratory diseases, skin problems, chilblains and other illnesses due to extreme cold weather. The audience were explained various preventive measures to keep such diseases at bay. They were also made aware of remedial measures that can help in boosting their health during winters. During the interaction several queries related to health issues were answered by the Medical Officer. The audience expressed their gratitude towards the Army for conducting such events to increase the awareness among local populace towards preventing winter borne ailments.
