Labourers find AK-47 rifles in Surankote, handover it to police

Tawi, Aug 21: Labourers on Monday found a rusted Ak-47 rifle while extracting sand from a river and handed over it to police in Surankote area in Poonch district.

Official sources said that at 6:30 PM, some labourers were extracting the sand from Surankote river near Dhundak bridge and all of sudden they found the old rusted AK- 47.

Subsequently, they said, the labourers informed the police station Surankote and a police party along-with Army reached on spot and took possession of the rifle.
