Keep eye on OGW’s, surrendered terrorists: SSP

Tawi, April 30: Reviewing the security scenario, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jammu, Dr Vinod Kumar on Tuesday asked the subordinates to keep eye on Over Ground Workers (OGWs), released and surrendered terrorists.

“Enhance vigil on OGW's, released and surrendered militants, history sheeters and other anti-social and anti- elements,” the top cop instructed officers in a meeting.

He briefed officers regarding the latest security scenario within Jammu City and neighbouring districts and advised the officers to continue their efforts, to work with dedication for the best possible security scenario and urged the officers to be vigilant in addressing any concerns that may arise.

He stressed upon the officers to focus on human and tech intelligence gathering to prevent any untoward incident and be proactive against trouble shooters and increase area domination in sensitive pockets especially boundaries with neighbouring Districts and near borders and areas falling near LOC.

The officers however, assured SSP Jammu that they will work with full commitment and dedication to ensure a peaceful atmosphere in the district.
