Kargil deputation calls on Dy CM

A deputation of led by Mohammad Ali Mazhar called on the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh and projected several issues besides extending thanks for undertaking several projects in the hilly area.
The deputation while interacting with the deputy chief minister exuded hope that the developmental initiatives undertaken in the hilly area would be further accelerated besides ensuring their time bound completion.
They also extended thanks to the government for ensuring that work on Zojila tunnel which would ensure all weather connectivity to the and Kargil would be started soon. Besides, the Kishtwar-Panikhar road which had been a major demand of the people of Kishtwar and Kargil has also been sanctioned.
The deputation also thanked for inclusion of Kargil in the UDAN 2 scheme, which would also boost the of the area besides providing all year connectivity to the people of the area.
Deputy Chief Minister assured the deputation that the government both at the centre and state would further accelerate the development of the area. He said that the prime minister believes in SabkaSathSaabkaVikas which would ensure equitable development of every part of the country.
Dr Singh further assured them all other issues would also be redressed in a time bound manner.
