Jammu Tawi, Dec 4: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has suspended Naveen Kumar, the District Mineral Officer (DMO) of Kathua, pending an inquiry into his conduct. During his suspension, Kumar will be attached to the Directorate of Geology and Mining. Varinder Singh, the DMO of Jammu, will oversee the routine operations of the Kathua office in addition to his regular duties until further notice.
