The accused, along with Dalip Singh (S/o Dayal Singh, Gurha Brahmana, Bantalab) and Subhash Chander (R/o Ramgarh), allegedly convinced victims with promises of government jobs, providing fake appointment orders to cheat them of their hard-earned money. Investigation confirmed the offenses, leading to the filing of the charge-sheet before the Railway Magistrate Court, Jammu, under sections 420, 465, 468, 120-B IPC.
