Srinagar, Feb 3: An ex-serviceman was killed, and his wife and a daughter were wounded in a militant attack in Jammu Kashmir’s Kulgam district this afternoon, officials said.
They said the militants fired at ex-army man Manzoor Ahmed Waghey in Behibag area, injuring three family members.
The injured were shifted to a hospital where ex-serviceman Wagay succumbed to his injuries.
The condition of his wife and daughter is stated to be stable.
Soon after the incident security forces cordoned off the area and launched a manhunt to track down the militants responsible for the crime.
