    JDU calls on Relief Commissioner Migrants

    Tawi, Nov 5: Janta Dal United Jammu today called on Relief and
    Rehabilitation commissioner  Migrants  in his office Chambers at Jammu
    on the directions of Party President J&K G.M.Shaheen to highlight the
    problems being faced by migrants at J&K Divisions for their
    early  amelioration.

    The delegation included State General Secretary Sanjay Dhar, Vivek
    Bali Secretary J&K ,Piaray Lal Pandita Chairman Migrants J&K,Ravender
    Singh President Sikh minority cell Jammu and Vikas Koul General
    Secretary displaced Migrants.

    The discussion was mooted with  the Relief Commissioner Jammu on the
    problems of kashmiri migrants being faced by these people both at
    Jammu and At Kashmir during their detailed meeting with the Relief
    Commissioner, all these leaders  raised the problems of migrants viz.
    repair and renovation of internally  dilapidated  migrant quarters of
    Jammu, regular supply of water in TRT Nagrota, regular supply of pure
    drinking water in all camps of Jammu and Kashmir, construction of
    boundary wall in Natnusa camp Baramulla,  proper drainage system in
    all J&K migrant camps, adequate  accommodation for those PM package
    employees working Valley  who live on rent basis outside and have
    accommodation problem, Construction of pending PM package quarters in
    valley on war footing basis, setting up of First Aid centers and
    ration stores in all  transit camps of Kashmir, SRO 194 ambit may
    kindly got abolished, one room quarters at Purkhoo may kindly be got
    renovated for accommodating deserving families, approve four dug wells
    in jagti, long pending demand of allotment of shops in all transit
    camps in Jammu, boundary wall with gates in jagti,

    Enhancement of  monthly cash assistance of Kashmir migrants from Rs.
    13000 to Rs. 25000/ per month, regular supply of ration in transit
    camps of Kashmir etc. They also submitted a detailed memorandum of
    problems to the Relief Commissioner and expressed satisfaction on his
    positive attitude.
